"The 2014 Riesling trocken GG Nussbrunnen yielded just 15 hectoliters per hectare due to radical selections. It was macerated for 24 hours, clarified just through settling (no enzymes), and fermented and aged partly in used 350-liter oak barrels and partly in stainless steel (malolatic fermentation included) before bottling. It is a pure, ascetic and racy Riesling: vital, vibrant and straight, bone dry, very firm but really challenging. This is Riesling for fearless Viking palates, a real character, a rough diamond with good length and grip."
