Robert Parker - The Wine Advocate 2017

Pressestimmen

„The 2016 Rheingau Riesling Trocken Rüdesheim comes along with a pretty pure and stony yet also fruity bouquet with ripe bright fruit aromas. From low-yielding vines in the grands crus Berg Roseneck, Berg Rottland as well as Klosterlay and Magdalenenkreuz, this golden-yellow colored village wine offers a round, creamy, pretty rich yet dry and very elegant palate that displays a gorgeous mix of perfectly ripe Riesling fruit and the texture of weathered slate. The finish is piquant and spicy but also sensual. Pickled at 40 hectoliters per hectare, fermented spontaneously in large oak and aged sur lie until the end of July, this is an impressively well-structured but delicate and digestible Rüdesheim Riesling classic with a stimulatingly salty finish.“ by Stephan Rheinhardt
