"The 2014 Riesling Resspekt is a natural fermented selection of overripe and partly botrytised grapes, from the hillsides of Rüdesheim and the Oestrich Doosberg. It was bottled straight from the full lees without fining nor filtration in September 2015. The wine displays a clear, very ripe and stewed Riesling aroma on the nose with some coolish wet stone flavors. Full-bodied, round and powerful on the palate, this is an elegant, very aromatic and fruit intense Riesling full of tension and wild expression. Provided with a fine acidity, a firm structure and very good length, this compact and complex Riesling benefits a lot from massive aeration (days are better than hours here) -- or another 5-10 years of storing."
