Quite thrilling tension on the nose with just a hint of reduction but clear vineyard expression. A real tightrope walk and the sweetness well held in. Perhaps a tad timid for an Auslese - certainly not exuberant - but a very assured style with real vibrancy. Tastes drier than most Auslesen but it's really interesting. Hint of both lemon and lemonade. 9%"
