Weinbar & Vinothek Wiesbaden April/May 2015

In 1979, Stefan Ress asked the well-known artist Heinz te Laake to produce the first of the series. He was inspired by Château Mouton Rothschild, whose labels had borne the works of the most famous artists of the world for decades. In the course of many years, Ress developed a wonderful collection of unusual artists’ labels. These labels, now framed and on display at the Weinbar in Wiesbaden, provide you with an opportunity to have a look at part of our estate’s history. A fully illustrated book and a few bottles of these wines are also still available. The Weinbar staff will be happy to offer you advice.
