Vintage Presentation at Balthasar Ress

After a summer full of sunshine and a long winter thereafter, our 2008 collection is finally ready for you to sample. On Monday, 20 April, and on Saturday, 25 April, we're opening the doors of our cellar on Rheinallee 50 from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and look forward to your visit - bring along plenty of curiosity. Our entire team will be ready and waiting to show you the new white wines of 2008, as well as the particularly remarkable red wines of 2007, and to answer any questions you have.

As in years past, those who are interested can join me for a leisurely walk through Hattenheim's vineyards on Saturday. The walk begins at 1:00 p.m.

Youngsters can stay at the winery to enjoy the campfire and "bake" bread-on-a-stick. The Wiesbaden catering company "Trüffel" will see to it that grown-ups don't go hungry either.

After an afternoon sampling our newest wines, we recommend an evening at the "Trüffel" team's restaurant in Wiesbaden, Morello, where a number of our older-vintage wines are available.
