The 25th annual celebration “Glorious Rheingau Days” 5 - 13 November 2011

Our traditional rarities tasting, followed by a “stellar” five-course meal, will take place – as always – on a Friday, this year on 11 November 2011. Tickets are alrealdy available.

 

Since 1987, the Rheingau VDP estates and top chefs de cuisine have maintained the tradition of offering their very best from the cellar and the kitchen, accompanied by an outstanding cultural program, during the Glorious Rheingau Days just after the harvest. Eight days of pleasure during which you can attend wine tastings (from table presentations to seated tastings conducted by professionals); excellent gala dinners and sparkling wine menus; and events featuring music.

Riesling Renaissance

Top VDP wine-growers present their Rieslings during a gala dinner.

11 November:   

Ress’s Rarities Tasting and Stellar Menu

Rarities tasting in the manor of Weingut Balthasar Ress, followed by five-course dinner.

12 November:   

Rheingau Open

Traditonal vintage presentation of the VDP-Rheingau.

12 November:   

Riesling Giants

“Gigantic Rieslings” accompany a five-course menu in historical surroundings.

13 November:   

Riesling-Gala

Highlight and finale of the Glorious Rheingau Days.
