An important addition to our portfolio is our Balthasar Ress “Landwein” series. We’ve always had close contact with other wine-growing regions, particularly the Mosel and Rheinhessen regions. We’ll continue to maintain these working relationships, not least through our estate Manager, Dirk Würtz, who has lived in the heart of Rheinhessen for 20 years. After lengthy deliberation and thorough preparation, we’ve decided that in the future, we’ll also cultivate vineyards outside of the Rheingau. It goes without saying that our work there will be subject to the same high standards of quality as in the Rheingau. Our goal is to be able to offer you a variety of worthy alternatives in the entry-level category.
