Message from Christian Ress December 2013

My family and I as well as our entire team wish you and your family happy holidays and a good start in 2014. For us, 2013 was truly an eventful and turbulent year. To understand what we mean by "turbulent," have a look at "news" or "media mentions" on our website.

 

Our first real harvest on Sylt was certainly a milestone (videos and media mentions) as was the retrieval of our 2009 RESSpekt from the depths of the Diez quarry pond after three years of slumbering there (videos and media mentions).

 

Another great event was the opening of our Weinbar & Vinothek in Wiesbaden. Just after somewhat more than half a year, our new Balthasar Ress "flagship store" has already become an established entity on Mauergasse.

 

Those who tackle so many projects in one year - in addition to the normal challenges of agricultural work - need a time out. For last-minute shoppers, we'll still be here for you on Christmas Eve. Our Vinothek In Hattenheim (Rheinallee 50) is open from 8:00 a.m. to noon. Thereafter, the Vinothek is closed through 1 January 2014. In Wiesbaden, our Weinbar & Vinothek is open except on holidays.
