Balthasar Ress at “Bocuse d’Or”

 

The world’s leading proponent of Nouvelle Cuisine, Paul Bocuse, had a vision, namely, to create a steppingstone for promising young chefs de cuisine. Since 1987, the “Bocuse d’Or” has been the most important award worldwide for those aspiring to capture a star in gourmet heaven. The Norwegian Ørjan Johannessen took first place this year.
