Our 2009 Hattenheim Nussbrunnen Riesling Auslese well demonstrates the benefits of aging. Even early on, in their youth, these wines have seductive aromas. Yet, it is only after several years that they first show their true character as their unique depth and wealth of aromas develop.

 

The 2009 Nusbrunnen Auslese is a perfect example. You can enjoy it now or leave it in your cellar for an additional fifteen years. If you opt for the here and now, we recommend trying it with a hearty roast pork and sides of creamed cabbage and dumplings. Sounds unusual? Yes, that's true...but there's hardly a better combination. Simply try it...
