Weinbar & Vinothek Wiesbaden July 2013

Enjoy the summer weather in the outdoor area of our Weinbar & Vinothek in Wiesbaden. Whether it's a little shopping break or a meeting with friends and acquaintances, we look forward to seeing you.

On Wednesday, 10 July 2013, as of 7:00 p.m., we're presenting a special selection of drinks. Our barmaids and barmen will mix fantastic drinks for you - all based on our wines. Look forward to the already legendary "CaipiRessi," the "Brandy Cooler" or the "Ginger Grape." All of which will be enhanced by our resident DJs, the "audio activists."

 

During the Rheingau Musik Festival season, Balthasar Ress Weinbar & Vinothek will be an official "concert bar". You can enjoy the exclusive "Festival Riesling" before or after your concert. On the days with concerts in Wiesbaden (5, 20, 25, and 31 July as well as 2 and 3 August 2013) we're extending our opening hours until midnight to enable you to end your day with us after the concert.

 

All guests who leave a business card in the glass set up to receive them are eligible to participate in our raffle. On Saturday, 20 July, we'll draw the winning card. The prize: two tickets to the concert on Thursday, 25 July 2013 at 9:00 p.m. in the Lutherkirche in Wiesbaden. The concert is a romantic choir evening with Johanna Wokalek (recitation) and the Balthasar Neumann choir under the direction of Thomas Hengelbrock.

 

In the future, on a more or less regular basis, we're going to have special theme nights in Wiesbaden. Based on our "wineBANKers' Table," we'll have selected wine-growers and sommeliers present very special wines. In June, we  hosted the south Tyrolean vintner Armin Kobler. As part of these get-togethers – our “WeinbarTreffs” – we’ll be welcoming the “WINEPUNK,” alias Marco Giovanni Zanetti, with his new Tuscan wines on Tuesday, 30 July, at 7:00 p.m.
