VDP Spring Trade Fair in Mainz on 29 and 30 April 2007

And even more remarkable that the majority of the estate growers/proprietors take the time to be on hand to personally present more than 1,000 wines in the course of the two-day fair.

On Sunday (29 April), from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Monday (30 April), from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., we will be there for you at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz with lots of novelties and vintage 2006 wines.

For anyone interested in a good meal after sampling these wines, I have have two tips for a pleasant evening:

In Wiesbaden, Orangerie im Nassauer Hof - especially the outdoor terrrace on Kaiser-Friedrich-Platz opposite the Kurhaus, where you can enjoy the regional specialties of Klaus Weingartz, chef de cuisine, with a good bottle of wine from our estate.

In Mainz, try the HDW - Haus des Deutschen Weines (House of German Wines) on Gutenbergplatz, to the left of the state theater. Our wines and many others can be enjoyed with fresh, contemporary cooking (seasonal and local ingredients).

An ideal way to end pleasant days on an even more enjoyable note!
