We recently asked you, our readers, to participate in a competition to find a name for this wine. In the meantime, we've received numerous suggestions and ideas. We ultimately opted for a name that we thought of ourselves: "SÖL´RING".

"SÖL´RING" is one of the ten main dialects of the North Frisian language and is traditionally spoken on the Island of Sylt, i.e., "Sylt Frisian." With this decision, we weren't simply giving our wine a catchy, marketing-savvy name. First and foremost, we wanted to demonstrate our solidarity with Sylt. It's an expression of our long-term commitment to seriously cultivate vines on the island in the decades to come.
