News from the wineBANK April 2014

Our guests were Fritz May from Weingut Karl May in Osthofen/Rheinhessen and Albrecht Engel from Weingut Engel in Flörsheim-Dalsheim/Rheinhessen. Members of Rheinhessen's new generation, both seek to produce expressive wines that reflect their origin. The Rieslings, Pinots, and two impressive red wines they presented at our wineBANKers' table not only showed their great talent and potential, but also the success of their endeavors. Osthofen and Flörsheim-Dalsheim are located in the Wonnegau district in southern Rheinhessen, which is also the home of other outstanding German wine-growers such as Wittmann, Keller, and Battenfeld-Spanier.
