Message from Christian Ress October/November 2014

From 1 to 9 November, the 28th annual “Glorious Rheingau Days” will take place. In the meantime, we can safely say that this series of wine and food events has become an institution. As always, we’ll be participating. Given the success of last year’s “Sylt beach party,” we’ve decided to repeat it this year on Thursday, 6 November, at the former town hall in Hattenheim (today’s Restaurant Zum Krug).

We cordially invite you to join us as we duly celebrate our harvest in Keitum on the island of Sylt. Enjoy a glass of the new 55° Solaris of vintage 2014 with an appetizer, followed by Sylt specialties from land and sea – all accompanied by mellow guitar music in a lively atmosphere. Naturally, the one or other bottle of Rheingau wine will also be on hand for our Nordic festivities. Be one of our 55 guests as Josef Laufer, proprietor of Zum Krug, and I hold the second Sylt beach party during a Rheingau November.
