Employee profile September 2013

Cornelius Linden - we all call him "Conny" - is a third-year apprentice learning all about the wine-grower's profession at our estate. In the little spare time he has, Conny is active in a political youth organization. We view him as our "star" trainee. He came to us right after completing his high school education and since then, he's made the rounds in all the relevant departments. In the meantime, he's capable of handling many important tasks completely on his own. Although he wasn't born and raised in the wine-growing family, he has that certain something that one needs for this profession. As such, his educational performance here has been perfect. After completing his apprenticeship, Conny plans to study at the oenological school in Geisenheim. We hope that during his studies, he will also continue working here as an important employee. With such promising young talents we need not worry about the future of viticulture.
