Employee profile February 2013

We've expanded our production team. Jens Gundlich has been with us at the estate since 1 Janaury 2013. He trained as an automotive mechanic at Mercedes Benz, but has been involved in viticulture for many years. He and his best friend, our cellar master, Sascha Wagner, worked at Weingut Hans Bausch in Hattenheim during their school days. Since then, the thirty-year-old has been thoroughly familiar with agricultural machinery. In recent years, he worked at the renowned Robert Weil estate in Kiedrich/Rheingau. Jens, an all-rounder, is our handyman. He's responsible for our machines and our entire fleet of vehicles, and will actively support all machine work in the vineyard. We are very pleased to have found such a competent employee for our team. The hobby motocross racer has settled in at the estate so quickly that it seems like he's been here for years. Professionally as well as personally, he is a great addition to our estate.
