Annual vintage presentation

The 2007 vintage is truly a delight! The unusually high temperatures in April gave the grapes a head start in growth. Sunny and warm days in combination with cold nights, as well as the extremely long growing season, were ideal for the development of aromas. But you can see for yourself on 17 and 19 May, when our team opens the cellar door at the winery (Rheinallee 50 in Hattenheim). There will also be little snacks, so no need to worry about going hungry. In addition, those who are interested can accompany me on a little vineyard hike to the Nussbrunnen and Engelmannsberg sites. En route I’ll share some interesting facts, for example, about the first Balthasar Ress Weissburgunder (Pinot Blanc) and our “2007 Blanc de Blancs trocken,” among other things.

If you’re interested in enjoying a good meal at the end of the day, we recommend a visit to Burg Crass, where you can combine innovative cuisine with our wines in an absolutely wonderful, riverside setting!
