He came to us as a student to help out at the Vinothek in Hattenheim, but given his broad competence and professional knowledge, he was quickly a candidate for a more responsible position. He recently joined our team as a "brand ambassador" to represent the Balthasar Ress brand in numerous foreign markets. He reports directly to our export manager, Clemens von Eltz. Born in Weinsheim/Nahe, the enthusiastic scuba diver discovered his love of wine early on, and was nudged onto the "right path of wine" by good friends. After business training and business administration studies, Mats received his first practical experience with wine during a stint at Weingut Schäfer-Fröhlich/Nahe. We're delighted to have such a competent person join our team.
