Message from Christian Ress October 2013

The 2012 "R" - a special selection from our Rüdesheimer sites - fetched a great price of 127,00 euros per magnum. A fact, though, that shows us that our enormous efforts, particularly with regard to dry Rieslings, have not merely been noted - they have won recognition. We're extremely proud of this. It confirms that we're steadily pursuing the right path.

 

Above all, the auction results provide tremendous motivation for the 2013 vintage. We want to begin harvesting in mid-October and we're confident that this year, we'll once again succeed in ratcheting up the quality of our wines.

 

As in the past, you can watch what's going on "live" via our harvest webcam. Soon it will be hanging in the press house and sending pictures of the harvest around the clock.
