Tresterbrand is a brandy distilled from grape pomace (cf. French marc, Italian grappa) -
a byproduct of wine production once disparagingly referred to as "dregs". Yet it contains a
multitude of typical varietal aromas that we strive to bring forth through careful distillation.
Varietal typicity is the focal point of our "Von Unserm" Tresterbrand and all of our "Von Unserm"
spirits. To achieve the desired level of maturity, our brandies are aged for at least 12
months in barrique casks.
