Message from Christian Ress August / September 2015

If you’ve ever wondered just exactly what we do on the island of Sylt and how our vineyard looks, but you don’t have time for a quick trip to Germany’s most popular island, then simply turn on your TV on Sunday, 20 September, at 4:45 p.m.

There will be a comprehensive reportage on the program "hercules” on hessischer Rundfunk (hr), the local  Hessian TV channel. For access via computer: hr live tv. It’s well worth the time – the pictures are breathtaking. If this whets your appetite and you want to know how the wine from our northernmost vineyard tastes, then take advantage of the opportunity to procure one of the few and strictly limited bottles of our 2014 SOL´RING. Both the wine and packaging are exceptional. To order, please contact Marita Lutz in Germany. For readers outside of Germany, please contact Clemens von Eltz.

By the way, I’m especially happy about the unbelievably positive response to our Riesling-Bulli. Since the 1973 VW van was converted into a rolling wine pub, it’s been en route throughout the region nearly every weekend. Regardless of whether it’s a street food festival, company celebration or tennis tournament, our Riesling-Bulli cuts a good figure. If you’re interested in renting this unusual vehicle for your event, please contact Carina Diepenbrock.
