In retrospect: Glorious Rheingau Days 2011



The Riesling gala at Kloster Eberbach monastery on 13 November was at once the highlight and finale of this year’s Glorious Rheingau Days festivities – it was truly an extraordinary culinary event.

Since 1987, Rheingau-VDP wine estates and top restaurateurs traditionally have celebrated the end of the harvest with the Glorious Rheingau Days, during which they present the best of their cellars and kitchens, accompanied by an outstanding cultural program. The eight-day celebration once again attracted wine enthusiasts from around the world for casual and tutored wine tastings, stunning gala dinners and Sekt menus, and events with musical performances.

Our webcam sends live pictures from the Hattenheimer Nussbrunnen vineyard, our press house, and our bottling hall. Webcam transmissions end when there is longer sufficient light, and the final pictures of the day are sent at night.
