Otmar Alt Edition V - Artist labels

Born in Wernigerode , Germany, in 1940. Studies at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin from 1960 - 1966; student in the master class of Professor Hermann Bachmann. In 1966, first exhibition in Gallery Katz, Berlin.

In 1967, winner of Franz Roh - prize, Collage-'67, Munich. In 1968, first sculptures (ceramics). In 1969 travels to Iceland, Greenland; London, New York. First bronze sculptures. In 1971, travels and exhibitions in the USA and Canada; travels to the South Seas. In 1972, artistic posters for Olympic Games in Munich. Murals in the sparooms in Badenweiler.

From 1973 to 1977, designs for jewellery, completion of wood sculptures. From 1978 - 1979 first sketches for Rosenthal, porcelain factory. Iron sculptures for the Federal Garden Show in Bonn, Germany. In 1980, starts of new paintings, water colours, graphic designs. From 1981 to 1984 new ceramics, mural at the State Hospital in Göttingen, Germany, giving artistic form to the inner courtyard of the dental clinic in Regensburg, Germany, new iron sculptures.

Since 1965 numerous individual exhibitions among others in Germany, England, Switzerland, the USA and Canada.

Measurements and dimensions of labels list height before width. Personal signature of the artist. The bottles of the edition numbered 1 to 2700; they are offered in editions A, B, and C.
