Julio Herrera Zapata Edition IV - Artist labels

Born in Madrid, in 1932. Moved to Cuba in 1939. From 1950 to 1952, studies at the university of Havanna, Cuba; moved to the USA in 1953; from 1954 to 1957 studies at Parson's School of Design, New York. 1957 re turn to Cuba; organisation of a centre for pottery, travels to Europe.

Participation in Biennale in Berlin; decision to settle in Paris; exclusive dedication to painting. Studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Paris; lithography and etching. Currently live s and works in Paris.
