Heinrich Richter Edition III - Artist labels

Born in Inowroclaw / Poland, in 1920. Studies at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste in Berlin from 1948 - 1955; student in the master class of Professor Orlowski. In 1952, studies in Paris.

From 1965 - 1968 working on illustrations of Günter Grass' novel "The Tin Drum". Numerous book illustrations for Eremitenpresse publishing house in Düsseldorf. 1968 - 1970 regular studies and work in Switzerland. 1971 work in Paris. Since 1971 living in Seignelay (Yonne ) and Cannes , France and in Berlin.

1969 Grand prize of art for painting; 1975 guest of honour at Villa Massimo, Rome, Italy. Individual exhibitions, among others, in National Gallery, Berlin, Kunstverein für die Rheinlande und Westfalen, Düsseldorf, Musee des Beaux Arts, Lausanne, Switzerland, and further exhibitions in Germany, Switzerland, France , the USA, Sweden, Mexico, Brazil and Japan.
